Hi, I'm author of LIPEditir.

Sorry my terrible English.

1. For work You need WAV-file with next parameters - 22KHz, 16bit

2. Mark WAV with SoundForge or CoolEdit. You need position of marker where head starts to say a sound. Be attentively with pause. If You need really good synchronization mark them too. Please, don't use LIPEditor for this. It's VERY Inconveniently.

3. Make text file with position of markers with next format:

:

0
1231768
7987989

one marker position per line

3. Convert WAV into ACM with tools from this site.

4. Start LIPEditor and create new file with converted ACM.

5. Import file with  marker's positions (File->Import).

6. Change frames of head for markers.

Thanks for the help.

Is there anyway to automate the process? I can not program so I do not know what if this is possible. But it would be nice if a tool could do a crude automatic job.

I will try to use it again

I Think no.
I simply do not present how automatically to find the beginning of a sound in a phrase: (

Hi Guys,

Okay I think I have got this figured out now, one of the audio speacilists on our mod team has made a command line program that automaticaly creates a marker text file to import into LIP Editor.

When we import the text file we can not automaticaly assgin a frame of the FRM to a certian marker.

eg:
:
0 frame-0
1231768 frame-2
7987989 frame-3

It looks like LIP Editor does not allow the 'Import' feature to have a frame specified.

But I have noticed that LIP Editor also has a 'Insert Templates' option, but I dont know how to make a template. What format to the template need to be? Do you have any example Template files that I could try. Also would it be possible to add the option to select what frame the offset uses in the 'import' option

Can I find this useful program anywhere?

Hi!

I'm the man who is developing that "phoneme finder" program WildQwerty talked about. The program is currently under tweaking and testing. Hopefully we can release it within few months.

There's one thing I'd need some help from you guys.. do you have any documents about LIP -file format or any example c++ sources how write them? I noticed that there is a link to a zip file with lip file format definition in it on your site, but unfortunately the link is dead. With this information I could create ready-to-go lip -files for fine-tunig in LIPEditor.

Cheers,
eimink
